The article touches upon the foreign language teaching technique since early childhood «Baby Linguist». It describes the content components of the technique, states its peculiarities and gives examples of the tasks performed. Teaching a foreign language to young learners is regarded as the preparatory stage of the process of forming linguistic competence of the pre-school children.
